In Our introduction to this modest paper, we have attracted attention to the fact that the necessity for words in the fact that the necessity for words in the old english period up to the modern one was met by borrowing from other laguages through contacts rather than making new coinages. In the second chapter, we have underlined that Jargon Dictionary obeys to the same impulse to "make it new" in the domain of lexicology as all other anglo-saxon scientists did in their respective research field. this is no doubt a common aspect of "les langues specialisées which Pierre Lerat (1995 : 20) defines as c'est une langue naturelle considérée en tant que vecteur de connaissances spécialisées."this feature is particlary evident in the jargon Dictuonary with adistinctive attribute however : It is the fact that the jargon of hackers ischaracterized by combination of three traits -sompactness, transparency and playfulness.
